PMGSY plays major role in development of rural area : Jugal Kishore MP

Today Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament Lok Sabha Jammu Poonch inaugurated Kathar to Ponthal road and Bridge at Ghambhir Nallah Constructed Costing Rs 9 crores in Block Dansal in Nagrota Constituency under PMGSY.

Jugal Kishore also attended Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Panchayat Ponthal in Block Dansal in which BDO Joni Kumar, Sarpanch Anil Barsala along with other Sarpanches Panches & officials of various departments were present.

Member of Parliament also took stock of various development works in Block Dansal. Member of Parliament while addressing the gathering said that this road & bridge was long pending demand of the inhabitants of Panchayat Ponthal and adjoining areas of Block Dansal. He said that under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi Ji every rural sector is getting share of development and Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojana is playing major role to develop the rural corners. He said that Kathar to Ponthal road is streched over the length of 8 kms including a motorable bridge is constructed with the cost of 9 crores approximately under Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Yojana is today dedicated to the public will serve as a major source of development of Panchayat Pounthal and adjoining areas of block Dansal.

Member of Parliament while addressing the gathering present at viksitat viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program at Pounthal said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is started with the theme of "Sarkaar Apke Dwar" to enroll every poor who is left out without getting the benefits of Modi welfare schemes. He said that we should take the advantage of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and register people who are left out to get the benefit of welfare schemes.

The students of Govt Middle School Pounthal added a cultural flair to the proceedings, presenting debate activities and skits centred around the theme of National Integration.Member of Parliament also distributed certificates among beneficiaries.
